SHEBOYGAN, WI - The Benedictine University women's soccer team matched last season's win total by doubling up Lakeland University on the road Saturday afternoon.

• Benedictine set the early pace of the afternoon
• The team put together five shots in the first 12 minutes of the match, four of which came from
Katie Farb
• Farb set up the first goal in the 16th minute with a cross to
Abbie Graham that was headed home from eight yards out
• The goal marked the eighth of the year for Graham
• Graham followed by putting three in a row on goal
• Eve Meintz and Farb posted shots on goal in the middle portion before Graham struck again in the 33rd minute to extend the lead to 2-0
• Lakeland sliced into the deficit before the half and had an opportunity to tie in the 42nd minute
• The pressure mounted again early in the second with Farb putting a shot on goal to start the half
• Meintz hit a crossbar and was denied on another try before helping set up Farb in the 53rd minute
• Farb blasted home a long cross from the right wing to score 20 yards away
• The final goal came just moments later with
Stephanie Nichols scoring her first of the year on a rebound of a free kick from Graham
• Benedictine held a 25-4 advantage in shots with 17 on goal
• Farb tallied seven shots with Graham and Meintz adding six
• Cassidy Henson played the entire game in net
