• Manchester took a 1-0 lead in the first inning after tallying three hits
• The Eagles offense came alive in the second after two doubles from
Emily Chitwood and
Alex Laphen tallied runs and an
Angie Malsack triple scored another to take a 3-1 lead
• In the third,
Emily Moore and
Courtney Grasz connected for back-to-back homeruns to make it 5-1
• A Chitwood sac fly scored Grasz in the fifth to extend their lead
• Manchester threatened in the sixth, tallying two runs but the Eagles put up another run in the sixth on a Moore single to secure the 7-3 victory

• The Eagles offense was hot in the first inning, loading the bases with just one out
• Benedictine could only muster one run though, on a Chitwood RBI
• Eau Claire took a 2-1 lead in the bottom of the frame when they collected two runs off of one hit and two BenU errors
• UWEC scored two more runs in the third
• A Laphen double scored Chitwood who led off the inning with a double herself to make it 4-2 in the sixth
• Later that inning
Elena Sakellaropoulos singled to drive in a run and cut the BenU deficit to just one
• The Eagles got a runner on in the seventh but it wasn't enough as they fell to Eau Claire 4-3
•
Nicole Parney received the loss with 3 earned runs, five hits and four strikeouts
