WAVERLY, IOWA - The Benedictine University women's lacrosse team saw the season come to an end at Wartburg College on Sunday afternoon.

Wartburg 13, Benedictine 5
• The first half of the game featured a slow pace
• Wartburg scored the first two goals
• Madison Horan put Benedictine on the board with 8:26 to play in the opening half
• Down 3-1, Benedictine scored the final two goals of the half to tie the game when Horan scored with 2:02 left
• Wartburg scored the first three goals of the second half and controlled the game
• Jasmine Moreno broke the run, but Wartburg responded with five straight to pull away
• The game was finally played after twice being postponed due to weather
• Benedictine finished the season with a 2-14 record, 1-10 in the MWLC
• Wartburg finished with a 35-16 advantage in shots
• Horan scored three times with Moreno adding a pair
• Emma Redfern recorded 14 saves in goal, completing a record season in net
