ELMHURST, IL - Despite managing only four shots, the Benedictine University men's soccer team was able to upend Elmhurst College on the road Wednesday night.

• Elmhurst created early chances in the opening 15 minutes of play, but
Shawn Chervets and the defense held fast
• Lukasz Sulka put Benedictine on the board in the 16th minute with the team's first shot of the contest
• Santiago Beltran and
Erik Stammer helped set up the second goal of the year for Sulka
• Elmhurst tied the game on a penalty kick in the 23rd minute

Hayden Van Son put a header on target early in the second half but was denied
• A second opportunity arose for Van Son in the 60th minute, which he made the most of to score the game-winner
