• Benedictine created an early chance following a counter, but an attempt by Aldreiron Smith was halted
• Shawn Chervets and the Benedictine defense packed in tight, challenging every opportunity
• Calvin, the top scoring offense in the nation, opened the scoring just before halftime
• The second goal came late on the pick up of a loose ball in the box during the 83rd minute
• Calvin, ranked #1 in the D3soccer.com poll, held a 17-3 advantage in shots, constantly peppering the net
• The two goals allowed matched the fewest in a game this season by Calvin
