• Benedictine did not wait long to set the tone of the game
• The first chance of the night came on a corner kick in the sixth minute
• Katy Fredericksen redirected a cross in the ninth minute to put Benedictine ahead
• Abbie Graham and
Stephanie Nichols set up the goal
• A foul in the box enabled Greenville to tie the game on a penalty kick in the 15th minute
• The game remained tied for a bulk of the remainder of the contest
• Benedictine kept creating chances in the second half, finally breaking through on a free kick in the 78th minute
• Sammie Sarles sent a boot into the box that bounced around to
Abbie Graham, who poked home a wide open target after the keeper came out to challenge the loose ball
• Benedictine held an 8-3 edge in shots in the second half and a 12-6 margin for the game
