Billie Breaks School Record in Eagles Win

Senior libero Kristina Billie broke the Benedictine University women's volleyball school record for digs in a career in the second set of a 3-0 win over Eureka College on Wednesday night.

THE RECORD
Billie broke the school record that was set by 2002 graduate Carin Cieslowski. The record was 1,998 and Billie currently owns 2,003 career digs.
 
THE DETAILS
• Benedictine took the lead in set one after three straight Alyssa O'Boyle aces
• The Eagles went on to tally 15 kills and hold Eureka to just four kills in the 25-18 win
• In set two, Billie tallied back-to-back aces before she broke the school record halfway through the set
• Eureka went on a 5-0 run to come within five, but it wasn't enough as BenU went on to win 25-17
• Every Benedictine player saw action in the match, including the third set where the Eagles won 25-20
