Volleyball Splits Day Two of MSOE Invite

The Benedictine University women's volleyball team wrapped up day two of the Milwaukee School of Engineering Invitational, defeating CalTech in four sets but dropping a five-set heartbreaker to UW-River Falls.

Benedictine 3, CalTech 1 (25-12, 25-12, 18-25, 25-21)
 
THE STATS
• The Eagles tallied 12 kills in the first set and hit .417 to win 25-12
• Benedictine's offensive momentum continued into set two, tallying 13 kills for a .346 attack percentage for the 25-12 win
• CalTech's offense came alive in the third set, tallying 11 kills en route to a 25-18 win over BenU
• The Eagles rallied back I set four to claim the 25-21 win

• Both teams tallied 15 kills in the fourth set, but it was UW-River Falls who came out on top 29-27
• Benedictine could only muster four kills in the final set, falling 15-10
