• Most of the contest was very close, although Edgewood led for a bulk of the game
• The largest lead of the back and forth first was six points after Edgewood made back-to-back three-pointers to break a 29-29 tie and lead 35-29 with 1:08 to play in the half
• Benedictine scored the final five points of the half to pull within 35-34 at the break despite Edgewood shooting 60 percent from three-point land
• Eric Grygo scored the first points of the second half with a jumper to give Benedictine a momentary 36-35 lead
