Box Score MILWAUKEE, WI - The Benedictine University women's basketball team streaked to a fourth straight win on the road, collecting a conference decision at Alverno College.

THE DETAILS
• Benedictine took control early, scoring the first eight points of the game
• Alex Fanning scored six points in the run, capping the early spurt with a layup at the 6:20 mark of the opening quarter
• Fanning continued the strong quarter to extend the lead to double figures at 15-5 with 2:48 left
• Fanning scored 11 points in the quarter as Benedictine led 15-7 after the first
• Alverno battled back in the second quarter, pulling within three points but Benedictine led 33-26 at halftime
• Benedictine controlled inside in the third quarter as the combination of Fanning and
Allison Michalski helped put Benedictine ahead by 17 points
• Bennita Drain made a layup right before the end of the quarter following a turnover to give Benedictine a 57-39 lead headed to the final 10 minutes
• Elisa Diorio scored to begin the fourth, putting Benedictine ahead by 20 points at 59-39 and Alverno pulled no closer than 15 the rest of the way
STAT LEADERS
• Benedictine shot 57 percent from the floor and held a 40-22 advantage on the glass
• The bench scored 31 points and the team totaled 46 points in the paint, over half the total
• Fanning finished with 18 points and 12 rebounds, blocking five shots and adding three assists
