LISLE, IL - The Benedictine University women's volleyball team swept a pair of matches at the annual Eagle Classic on Friday night to reach 20 victories and cap the regular season.

WHEATON DETAILS
• Benedictine hit .227 and was over the .340 mark in the first and the fourth
• Benedictine trailed just 7-6 and 9-8 in the opening set
• Back-to-back kills from Dunwell were part of a stretch of three straight as Benedictine did not trail again
• Huizenga ignited a second set run of five consecutive point with three kills in the sequence to help Benedictine gain control of the second
• Wheaton countered with eight in a row to lead 13-10
• Yngride JeanPhillipe put down a kill to start five consecutive points as Benedictine countered to lead 16-14 and Benedictine closed the set with a 14-2 burst to grab the decision
• The visitors used a stretch that saw 9-of-10 points in the middle of the third to force an additional set
• Benedictine raced to a 12-5 lead in the fourth but tied the contest twice at 15-15 and 16-16
• A kill from Dunwell kicked off five in a row that allowed Benedictine to seal the win

• Benedictine had the best hitting performance of the season and did not commit an error in the first two sets, blasting a .750 clip in the first and a .500 mark in the second
• For the match, Benedictine hit .507
• Benedictine scored the first five points of the opening set and led 8-1
• JeanPhillipe opened a stretch of 10 in a row which included three aces from Primas as Benedictine pulled away
• Rockford led early in the second before a block started four in a row that saw Benedictine lead 10-6
• Benedictine utilized 10-of-12 points to pull away in the second
• The third set saw Benedictine lead 5-1 and use a variety of different lineups
