• Lakeland scored the first three points of the match and led 4-1 and 6-2
• Benedictine did not lead in the set back came back to within a point twice at 19-18 and 20-19 before a pair of errors were part of a three-point stretch that enable Lakeland to grab the opener
• The second set was nearly identical with Lakeland leading 3-0 and 5-1
• Kills from

Taylor Dunwell helped Benedictine pull within 8-7, but Lakeland responded with five straight in the middle of the set to pull away
• Benedictine scored four in a row to lead 13-12 in the third, but the hosts, who finished in a three-way tie for the conference title, put together six straight and four in a row late to tally the decision Â
