ROCK ISLAND, IL - The Benedictine University women's basketball team dropped a stiff test in the championship game of the Augustana College Hyatt Place Tournament, falling to #6 Hope College.

• Hope scored the first 10 points of the game and did not trail
• Allison Michalski tallied the first points for Benedictine with a layup at the 6:10 mark of the first quarter
• Claire Gibler delivered a three-pointer to bring Benedictine within 10-5 moments later
• Hope hit a three with 2:50 remaining in the first to move ahead by double figures and led 23-8 after one
