Softball Splits Day Two

The Benedictine University softball split day two down in Florida, beating Geneva College 7-0 but falling 4-3 to Clarkson University.
 
GENEVA DETAILS
• Benedictine had a huge fourth inning, tallying five runs off of five hits including a two-RBI double from Asia Robinette
• Alexandra Loizon (2-0) picked up her second win of the year in as many starts, pitching 5.2 innings and allowing seven hits with two strikeouts
 
STAT LEADERS
Emily Moore: 2-3, 1 run, 1 RBI
Robinette: 1-2, 1 run, 2 RBI
 
CLARKSON DETAILS
• Benedictine had the lead after three innings, tallying three runs off of three hits
• Elena Sakellaropoulos connected for a two-RBI double
• Clarkson scored two runs in the fourth and another in the sixth to secure the win
• Caitlin Curtis (0-1) pitched 6.0 innings, allowed 10 hits with one strikeout
