LISLE, IL - The Benedictine University women's lacrosse team continued a busy stretch with a home loss to North Central College in non-conference play on Wednesday night.

• North Central scored the first three goals of the game before Benedictine began to rally
• Kaylee Garcia netted her 13th goal of the season to put Benedictine on the board with 23:03 left in the first
• Emily Vellender answered with her sixth of the year as Benedictine pulled within 3-2 at the 21:23 mark
• North Central scored the next nine goals, leading 9-2 at the half and building a 12-2 edge early in the second
• Back-to-back goals from Emma Redfern and Victoria House drew Benedictine within 14-6, but the team could pull no closer
