LISLE, IL - The Benedictine University men's lacrosse team opened the conference schedule by powering past visiting Marian University on Wednesday afternoon.

• Benedictine left no doubt early, scoring the first eight goals of the game including three in the first five minutes
• Scott Ransom opened the scoring with an unassisted tally at the 13:19 mark
• Five different individuals scored to open the contest with
Anthony Leahy netting the final tally at the 10:48 mark of the second quarter
• After Marian scored, Benedictine ended the half with four consecutive goals to take a 12-1 lead
• Joe Spahn scored to open the second half, but the pace slowed down as Benedictine eased to the victory
