• Aurora scored twice in the first three minutes of the opening quarter
• The hosts built a 6-0 lead after the first quarter
• Scott Ransom posted the first Benedictine goal at the beginning of the second quarter
• Aurora score the next two goals to open an 8-1 edge
• Ransom opened a string of four in a row as Benedictine battled to within 8-4 at halftime
