LISLE, IL - The Benedictine University baseball team dropped a Sunday non-conference game with visiting North Park University.

THE DETAILS
• The game was cruising along early with both pitchers dealing
• North Park built a 6-0 lead, scoring two runs in the fourth, fifth and seventh
• Benedictine was able to pull within 6-4 by scoring four runs in the bottom of the seventh
• Nicholas Quick led off the inning with a single and Zach Haddox followed with a double
• Michael Santarelli notched a two-run single against a new pitcher to put Benedictine on the board
• Jack Feeley drew a walk and Logan Shepard singled to load the bases
• Jimmy McLaughlin and Damen Castillo knocked in a run by reaching on an error
• Benedictine left the tying runs on base in the inning and brought the tying run to the plate in both the eighth and ninth but could not even the game

• Benedictine finished with nine hits in the contest
• Haddox tallied three hits while Shepard notched a pair
• Four pitchers threw for Benedictine while North Park utilized six
