GRAND RAPIDS, MI - The Benedictine University men's soccer team fell against a perennial national power on the road Wednesday night.

THE DETAILS
• Benedictine had an early corner kick and Martin Jimenez-Estrada stood on his head early, making three save in the first six minutes
• Calvin opened the scoring in the 11th minute
• Undeterred, Benedictine countered, tying the game in the 16th minute on a header from Lukas Sulka following a corner from Tomasz Kulak
• The remainder of the first 45 was back-and-forth with neither team gaining the upper hand
• Calvin scored three times in the second half to grab the win, opening the scoring in the first minute of the second
• Calvin held a 29-10 advantage in shots, putting 16 on goal
• Jimenez-Estrada recorded 11 saves in goal
• Sulka finished with three shots, two on goal
• Calvin lost in the national championship game last year
