Olivet, MI - The Benedictine University football team suffered a 21-6 loss at Olivet on Saturday afternoon.
Following a quiet opening quarter, Olivet used an eight-play 88-yard drive to take a 7-0 lead early in the second quarter. 
Scottie Bobeck recorded an interception to set up the only Benedictine score with just over a minute remaining in the second.
Kiandre Morris reeled in a nine-yard score with just 1:26 to play in the first half on a pass from 
Tyler Jarnagin. The touchdown finished a seven-play 44-yard drive. Olivet used a short-field to open the scoring in the second half on their first drive of the third quarter. The final score of the game came early in the fourth after an 11-play drive for the hosts.
Benedictine managed just 201 yards in the contest, almost all of which came on the road. Jarnin completed 20 passes for 188 yards with a touchdown and an interception. 
Brandon Adams caught fie passes for 46 yards. Bobeck paced the defense with 14 tackles with 
Kaiden O'Connor adding nine.
Benedictine (1-2) travels to Concordia Wisconsin in the conference opener in two weeks.
