THE DETAILS
• Benedictine posted a few early chances with back-to-back shots from
Jennifer Garcia in the first five minutes
• Abbie Graham put a shot on target in the 12th minute but could not score
• Carroll opened the scoring in the 14th minute with the only tally of the first half
• Benedictine countered with consecutive attempts but neither was on goal
• Carroll furthered the lead early in the second by banking a ball off a defender in the 48th minute
• The hosts tightened on defense and Benedictine did not have another shot after an
Eve Meintz try in the 58th minute
• Cassidy Henson recorded five saves in goal
• Both teams finished with 11 shots
• Garcia and Meintz both tallied three shots for Benedictine
