LISLE, IL - The Benedictine University men's lacrosse team opened play in the Midwest Lacrosse Conference by taking down visiting Marian University.

• Marian scored the first two goals of the game
• Anthony Leahy set up Thomas Tillett as Benedictine scored the next six goals and did not trail again

• Marian pulled within a single goal late in the third quarter at 8-7
