THE DETAILS
• It took nearly three minutes for either team to score, but Trine tallied the first 13 points of the game and did not trail
• Allison Michalski finally got Benedictine on the board at the 3:21 mark of the first but Benedictine found themselves down 16-3 after one
• The shots weren't falling as the deficit grew to 20 points in the second and Benedictine trailed 31-7 at the break
• Benedictine was able to cut the lead to 16 in the third, but Trine again pulled away to take the win
• The 37 points marked a season low
• The NCAA appearance marked the second in school history and ended a record year
STAT LEADERS
• Michalski was the lone player to reach double figures, finishing with 15 points and adding 12 rebounds for a double-double
• Alex Fanning finished with seven points and 10 rebounds to go with five blocks
• Benedictine shot just 22 percent in the game and were outrebounded 45-36
