KALAMAZOO, MI - The Benedictine University men's lacrosse team used a big start and a big finish to notch a win on the road.

• Anthony Leahy set up
Joe Spahn with the first goal less than a minute into the contest
• With the contest even at 2-2, Leahy scored in a man-up situation on a feed from
Colin Domek and the pair repeated the connection four minutes later as Benedictine would not trail in the contest
• Kalamazoo pulled within 6-5 in the second after scoring three straight and went into halftime trailing just 7-6
• A slow third quarter saw both team score twice as Benedictine led 9-8 into the fourth
• Thomas Tillett tallied the first of five in a row less than three minutes into the fourth and Domek struck just 20 seconds later as Benedictine pulled away

• Kalamazoo held a 57-30 advantage in shots
• Benedictine won 13 faceoffs and picked up 35 groundballs
• Tillett and Spahn each scored four goals with Tillett adding an assist
• Domek netted three goals and tacked on three assists

• Daniel Lawler caused three turnovers
• Evan Kilbane made 11 saves in goal to earn the win
• Bobby Tangredi stopped six shots after taking over in the third
