LISLE, IL - The Benedictine University women's lacrosse team grabbed a non-conference win at home over Franklin, leading wire-to-wire.

• Benedictine scored the first five goals of the contest
• Emma Redfern opened the scoring just over three minutes into the contest and then set up Jessica Lindsay two minutes later
• Five different individuals scored the first five goals of the contest
• Following a tally by Franklin, three more individuals scored goals as eight different players opened the scoring
• Emily Vellender scored twice before the half as Benedictine led 10-1 at halftime
• Lindsay opened the scoring in the second half to start the running clock as Benedictine led 11-1 and scored eight goals in a row

• Benedictine held a 35-16 advantage in shots with 27 on goal
• Benedictine won 12 draws and picked up 27 groundballs
• Lindsay, Vellender, Lexie Orr and Kaylee Garcia all scored three times
• Margaret Pinkston made seven saves in net and led the team with six groundballs while causing three turnovers
• Victoria House picked up five draws and caused three turnovers
