Chase Olson is a sophomore middle hitter on the nationally ranked men's volleyball team. Olson hails from Woodridge, Ill. and started all 17 matches this season, leading the team in blocks.

1. I started playing volleyball my freshman year of high school
2. I also played basketball in high school
3. I choose to play volleyball because it has such a strong dependence on teamwork between teammates
4. I want to be a high school teacher
5. I have one brother who is a senior in high school

8. I love playing beach volleyball
9. Last year, my teammate and I all had fish that we kept in our dorm rooms
10. They are alive and well all thanks to the bass master, Jake Strande

14. My family goes to Michigan a lot in the summer to relax and spend time together
15. I've hiked 3 mountains within 3 days
