RIVER FOREST, IL - The Benedictine University men's basketball team used a big first half run for the second consecutive night to pull away from Concordia Chicago and record a road sweep of the opening weekend of conference play.

• Trevor Montiel put Benedictine ahead for good with 13:45 left in the first half, converting on a layup to make the score 14-12
• Chris Hester opened a 13-0 run with a three-pointer as Benedictine kept the hosts scoreless for over six minutes
• Michael Johnson finished the run with 6:47 remaining, making the score 27-13
• Concordia Chicago did not connect on a field goal for nearly 13 minutes
• Benedictine led 41-21 at the half
• The onslaught continued in the second half with the lead reaching 58-28 on two
