- Caroline O'Connor opened the match with a kill and Jamie Janczak followed with an ace as Benedictine surged to leads of 4-0 and 5-1
- Benedictine reached double digits first on a kill from Kaitlyn Estopare to lead 10-6 but Aurora kept responding
- Brooke Huizenga tied the contest at 18-18 before Aurora notched four straight to grab control
- The second set featured consistent back-and-forth
- A block from Yngride JeanPhillipe and Huizenga enabled Benedictine to lead 19-17 before Aurora seized seven straight
