LISLE, IL - The Benedictine University women's volleyball team knocked Edgewood from the ranks of the unbeaten in the NACC with a sweep on Saturday afternoon.

THE DETAILS
• Benedictine stormed out of the gates in the first set, opening a 6-2 lead
• Edgewood did not take the lead until a stretch of seven consecutive points to open a 15-13 lead
• Benedictine answered with four in a row and seven-of-eight to pull away in the opening set
• Benedictine could never put Edgewood out of reach in the second but a
Grace Knutsen kill put Benedictine to 20 first and
Caroline O'Connor punctuated the set win with a kill to end it
• Benedictine scored the first three points of the third but Edgewood went on to lead 12-7 and 17-14
• Kaitlyn Estopare put down a kill to open a run of three in a row as Benedictine tied the match at 17-17
