MILWAUKEE, WI - The Benedictine University women's volleyball team opened a weekend of road conference contests with a close four-set win at Wisconsin Lutheran.

THE DETAILS
- Benedictine led for a large portion of the first set and held a 16-15 edge before Wisconsin Lutheran scored 10 straight points
- Yngride JeanPhillipe opened a run of four straight points midway through the second as Benedictine opened a 13-8 lead
- Hannah Griffith put down a kill to hand Benedictine a 17-12 edge
- The hosts pulled within 22-21 before Benedictine was able to even the match
- Jamie Janczak tallied three consecutive aces to help Benedictine dig out of an early hole in the third
- Madelyn Sullivan strung together three straight aces to help Benedictine tie the third at 13-13
- Grace Knutsen put down a kill to break a 20-20 tie and Benedictine notched four straight to be in position to close out the set
- Wisconsin Lutheran led 10-3 in the fourth and held a 22-17 lead before Benedictine scored five straight to tie the game on a block from JeanPhillipe
- Caroline O'Connor put Benedictine on the verge of a win and an error ended the contest
