MADISON, WI - The Benedictine University men's soccer team blasted 49 shots including 21 on goal in winning a fourth straight contest on the road.

• Following an early flurry,
Hayden Van Son found the back of the net in the 16th minute, driving home a feed from
Fernando Alvarez to grab a 1-0 lead
• Benedictine kept on consistent pressure, extending the lead to 2-0 in the 30th minute when
Mike Bassier poked home a pass from Van Son and
David Szaflarski
• Benedictine erupted for five goals in the second half, taking advantage of the repeated attempts
• Szaflarski and Van Son put shots on target in the first three minutes
• Habtamu Kruiswyk made the score 3-0 in the 51st minute and five minutes later
Alex Pillath scored to push the lead to 4-0
• Szaflarski scored and
Noah Kappel tallied a pair of goals to close out the win
