MADISON, WI - The Benedictine University women's soccer team won a third straight game by taking down Edgewood on the road.

THE DETAILS
• Benedictine set the tone early, posting five straight shots over nearly an eight-minute period to start the match
• Eve Meintz, Emma Evans, Xitlali Sanchez and Stephanie Hernandez all posted shots
• Benedictine continued to press, breaking through with the game's first goal in the 31st minute when Lyric Jones set up Anna Dudziak
• Less than three minutes later an own goal extended the lead to 2-0
• Edgewood cut into the margin with a goal late in the first half
