FRANKLIN, IN - The Benedictine University women's lacrosse team erased an early three-goal deficit to record the first win of the season.

THE DETAILS
• Franklin scored three goals in the first two minutes to open the early advantage
• Savanna Ulery got Benedictine on the board with 24:58 left in the first half
• Down 4-1, Kaylee Garcia scored twice around a Ulery goal to tie the score at 4-4 with 18:51 remaining in the first
• Franklin again stretched the lead to three goals before Maria Trevino scored late in the half and Benedictine trailed 8-6
• The hosts scored the first goal early in the second before Garcia posted three consecutive goals to tie the score at 9-9 with 23:01 left
• Victoria House set up Katrina Lisowski with 12:27 to play as Benedictine led for the first time at 10-9 and the defense held on for the win

• Benedictine held a 40-27 advantage in shots with Garcia notching nine, all on goal
• Benedictine picked up 39 groundballs and won 11 draws
• Garcia scored five times while Ulery scored twice
