• Benedictine set the tone by scoring the first two points of the opening set and did not look back

Jacob Grygo kills enabled Benedictine to score six straight points and start to pull away
• Rockford scored the opening point of the second set and hung around until three straight kills from three different players as part of a five-point run allowed Benedictine to pull away
• Benedictine led 7-2 in the third and kept the attack up to breeze to the win
• Benedictine hit .684 in the third set and finished the match at .507, tallying at least 12 kills in each set
