LISLE, IL - With a sweep of visiting Marian, the seventh-ranked Benedictine University men's volleyball team secured a share of a third consecutive Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference title (No title was awarded in 2020) and the top seed in next week's conference tournament.

THE DETAILS
• Benedictine broke open an even first set by scoring five straight points to break a 12-12 tie
• Martin Radomski opened the run with a kill and added an ace
• The second set was similarly close before a three-point run opened some distance
• A serving error, a kill from
Nathan Klimisch, and a red card made the score 15-11
• Klimisch ended the set with another kill
• Benedictine led for almost the entire third set to close out the win
• Three straight kills from
Jacob Grygo helped open a 10-6 lead
• Chase Olson recorded a kill to bring up match point and an error handed Benedictine a conference title
• The team shared a conference title in 2018, won outright and 2019 and can secure an outright title in 2021 with a win at Wisconsin Lutheran on Friday
• Benedictine hit .461 for the match and tallied seven aces while notching just one block
