ROCKFORD, IL - The Benedictine University men's soccer team allowed a late goal in a tie with Rockford.

THE DETAILS
- Benedictine wasted no time in getting on the offensive
- Hayden Van Son notched a shot in the opening minute
- A corner kick helped Omar Barragan attempt a shot in the third minute
- Van Son found the back of the net in the seventh minute to put Benedictine ahead
- Branden Donovan helped set up a goal into the bottom left of the net
- Benedictine held a 1-0 lead until the final minute
- Rockford pressed, putting together four shots in the final 10 minutes
- The equalizer kicked into the net with less than a second remaining
- Benedictine had some solid chances in the first overtime but could not break the tie
- The second overtime saw Benedictine again create chances but the contest ended in a draw after 110 minutes
