LISLE, IL - The Benedictine University women's basketball team advanced to the championship of the South Division Tournament with a wire-to-wire victory over fourth-seeded Concordia Chicago on Thursday night.

• Allison Michalski scored the first points of the game to put Benedictine ahead
• Concordia Chicago struggled from the floor as Benedictine closed the opening 10 minutes on a 7-0 run to open a 19-7 advantage on a three-pointer from
Claire Gibler
• The run reached 9-0 with the opening basket of the second quarter from Michalski
• Benedictine continued to slowly add to the lead, opening a 20-point edge at 35-15 on a Gibler jumper in the final minute

Reggie Much, one of the five seniors honored before the game, hit two free throws to stretch the lead to 21 points at 50-29 with 1:54 remaining
