LISLE, IL - The Benedictine University men's soccer team extended their unbeaten streak to three matches with a non-conference shutout of Rockford.

THE DETAILS
• A corner kick set up the first tally
• Lukasz Sulka fed Alex Pillath for the opening marker in the 21st minute
• Pillath was involved in the second goal less than 10 minutes later creating an initial shot that was rebounded to Hayden Van Son who drove home the second goal
• The defense played strong the entire game and the roster was able to utilize nearly every available player in completing the shutout

STAT LEADERS
• Benedictine held a 17-12 edge in shots with 10 on goal
• Benedictine also doubled up Rockford in corner kicks 10-5
• Sal Tamayo played the first half in net, stopping two shots
• Dominic Wistocki took the second 45 minutes and halted three attempts
