RIVER FOREST, IL - The Benedictine University women's volleyball team won the first set but fell in the conference tournament to Concordia Chicago in a competitive match on the road.

THE DETAILS
- Concordia Chicago scored the first four points of the opening set and led 5-1
- A kill from Brooke Huizenga put Benedictine ahead for the first time at 8-7
- Benedictine took the lead for good by scoring five straight points which included kills from Kaitlyn Estopare, Jamie Janczak and Hannah Griffith
- Benedictine led 20-16 and scored the final four points to capture the opening set
- Concordia Chicago led early again in the second but Benedictine scored four in a row on kills from Griffith, Caroline O'Connor, Huizenga and an ace from Madelyn Sullivan to lead 9-7
- Benedictine held a 21-20 lead, but the hosts scored five of the final six to win
- Benedictine led early in the third but Concordia Chicago regrouped
- Molly Stock recorded a kill as Benedictine fended off two straight set points before the hosts recorded the win
- Concordia Chicago built a big advantage early in the fourth at 14-5 and kept pulling away to close out the contest
