LISLE, IL -  The Benedictine University women's lacrosse team scored seven goals in the second half to rally past visiting Edgewood.

THE DETAILS
- Edgewood scored the first three goals of the game
- Benedictine responded with the next four goals to take the lead
- McKenzie Warden tied the game at the 12:14 mark of the first and Maria Trevino, honored for senior day, put Benedictine ahead for the first time with less than 10 minutes remaining
- Edgewood scored the next three including a goal just before the half to take a 6-4 edge into the break
- Victoria House and Jessica Lindsay both scored to open the second half and tie the game
- Edgewood led 8-6 before Kaylee Garcia began a stretch of five straight goals as Benedictine led 11-8 and grabbed the win
- The win all but assured Benedictine of a slot in the conference tournament

STAT LEADERS
- Benedictine held a 39-27 edge in shots and won 15 draws
- Garcia scored three times and added an assist with six draw controls
- House also added three goals
- Trevino collected four groundballs and won five draws
- Amaris Hernandez made five saves in net
