AURORA, IL - The Benedictine University women's lacrosse team played in the Northern Athletics Collegiate Conference Tournament for the first time on Wednesday.

THE DETAILS
- Aurora built a 10-0 lead in the first 20 minutes of the opening half
- Maria Trevino broke up the run by scoring the lone Benedictine goal with 4:45 left in the half
- Kaylee Garcia set up the goal
- Trevino had two previous shots on free position attempts earlier in the half
- Aurora led 12-1 at the half and outscored Benedictine 11-0 in the second to account for the final, notching the final 13 goals of the game
