BLOOMINGTON, IL - The record-setting season for the Benedictine University men's lacrosse team came to an end in the NCAA Tournament with a high-scoring loss to Hope.

• Benedictine traded goals early in the contest
• Thomas Tillett scored the first goal of the game in the opening minute of the contest
• Down 3-2,
Anthony Leahy scored back-to-back goals to put Benedictine ahead 4-3
• Hope scored 11 unanswered goals to grab control of the game, leading 15-5 at the half
• Benedictine mounted a strong comeback in the second half
• Nic Perkins scored consecutive goals to begin the third quarter
• Tillett and Perkins scored again as Benedictine opened with four straight to pull within 15-9 at the 11:47 mark
• Hope had an answer for every Benedictine run and despite being outscored 7-3 in the third still led 18-12
• Benedictine pulled within five three times in the fourth but could get no closer
