• A pitcher's duel throughout, both teams found offense hard to come by
• The first run of the game scored in the bottom of the fourth
• Ashley Fisher led off with a single and stole second before scoring on a two-out error
• Dubuque promptly tied the game with two outs in the top of the fifth
• Benedictine was able to push across the winning run in the bottom of the sixth
• Megan Fast led off with a single and pinch-runner

• Alexandra Loizon worked the whole game in the circle, allowing just one run while walking one and striking out four
• Benedictine mustered just four hits in the contest from four different individuals but it was enough to record the win
