THE DETAILS
- Jamie Janczak and Grace Knutsen put down kills late in the opening set during a four-point run that helped Benedictine gain the advantage before back-to-back finishes from Kaitlyn Estopare closed out the win
- Benedictine dominated in the second
- After falling behind 3-0 and 4-1, Benedictine used a stretch of nine points in 10 to open a commanding lead in the second at 19-9 following a kill from Yngride JeanPhillipe
- Estopare put down three kills in a four-point sequence with Hannah Griffith adding the other to close out the second
- In a back-and-forth third, Dominican tallied two in a row to break a 22-22 deadlock and gain the edge in the third
- Benedictine did not trail in the fourth, using a kill from Brooke Huizenga to open a string of six straight late to put the match out of reach
