LISLE, IL - The Benedictine University women's soccer team finished a busy opening week by falling to UW-Stout in a home non-conference contest.

THE DETAILS
- Benedictine went right at the visitors early with Victoria Alvarado tallying a shot on goal less than two minutes into the match
- The visitors were able to take the early lead by executing a series of quick passes in the sixth minute
- Both teams had plenty of chances but Stout struck again in the 38th minute to lead 2-0 at the half
- An early goal in the second half accounted for the final after Benedictine had an attempt by Alexa Lara denied
