THE DETAILS
- The game was not originally on the schedule but added when both teams lost games due to health and safety protocols
- Benedictine got off to a strong start, opening an early double-digit advantage
- Trevor Montiel scored all nine points in a 9-0 run as Benedictine led 14-4 with 14:09 left in the first
- The lead reached 12 and Benedictine was still up double digits with 7:38 remaining in the half but North Park came back to tie the game, holding Benedictine to just six points in the final portion of the half
- North Park opened the second half with a 8-0 run and led by nine at 50-41 less than four minutes into the second
- The lead stretched out to 18 points at the 11:43 mark with North Park in front 60-42
- Benedictine slowly pecked away and held North Park scoreless for the final 4:20 of the contest but could not overcome the deficit
