DE PERE, WI - Jeff Kratz connected on six three pointers and finished with 22 points but the Benedictine University men's basketball fell at St. Norbert in the first conference meeting between the two programs.

THE DETAILS
- The largest lead of the first half from either side was six points, part of a 10-0 run for St. Norbert that saw the hosts lead 16-10
- Kratz hit a three, Nate Shead notched consecutive buckets and Carter Knuckles logged a layup as Benedictine countered with a 9-0 spurt to lead 19-16
- Following six straight points from Benedictine, St. Norbert tallied the final five of the half to lead 31-28 at the break
- St. Norbert came out strong to open the second half, limiting Benedictine to just one point in the first five minutes to open a 14-point advantage at 43-29
- Benedictine trailed by 13 halfway through the second before Kratz hit a three to ignite a comeback
- Another three from Kratz pulled Benedictine within 50-45 with 7:46 remaining
- St. Norbert opened a 64-54 edge with 3:35 to go and Benedictine could get no closer than six the rest of the way

- Benedictine made nine three-pointers and shot 40 percent in the contest while holding a slim 36-35 edge on the glass
- St. Norbert attempted 24 free throws, making 18, while Benedictine finished 6-of-7 from the stripe
- Kratz scored 22 while Knuckles tallied 16 along with 12 rebounds
