Sixteen players saw the floor as the Benedictine University women's basketball team opened conference play with a 68-53 victory at Dominican.
Brilan McCory busted out with 17 points as Benedictine shot 38.6 percent in the win. Benedictine led nearly the entire way and the bench contributed 30 points. The team took advantage of 21 Dominican turnovers, producing 22 points while tallying 40 in the paint. Benedictine shot 50 percent in the second quarter to open a 15-point lead at the half.
