MADISON, WI - The Benedictine University women's basketball team ended the regular season by winning at Edgewood to secure the third seed in the conference tournament.

• Benedictine got off to a strong start and did not look back, holding the lead for the entire game
• Alex Fanning opened the game with a bucket and
Hanna Piro followed with a trey to give Benedictine a 5-0 edge
• Claire Gibler tallied back-to-back baskets to put Benedictine ahead by double figures at 19-8 with 3:07 left in the first
• The baskets were part of an 8-0 run as Benedictine opened a 23-8 lead
• Brianna Lake connected on three free throws to close the quarter as Benedictine led 26-10
