THE DETAILS
• The early part of the match featured a lot of back-and-forth
• Edgewood led 11-9 before Benedictine ripped off six-of-seven, opening a 15-12 lead on an ace from Martin Radomski
• Leading 15-13, an error opened a stretch of five straight as Benedictine settled in and pulled away
• Benedictine had a strong hitting performance in the second set, hitting at 65 percent to dominate, ending on a block from Chase Olson and Logan Fuglestad
• The third set opened with Benedictine leading 5-1 but Edgewood would not go away leading 19-16 at one point and keeping the pressure on Benedictine to nab the set
• Nathan Klimisch logged an ace in the fourth during a stretch of five in a row as Benedictine seized control
